I don’t know about you, but I love praying Scripture. This week I’m praying through these verses in 2 Corinthians and thought I’d share them with you.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
We’ve been talking about the role of lament in our lives lately. These verses drive home that the comfort we can find there isn’t merely for our benefit. It is also fundamentally about helping others. Will you join me in praying that not only will we find comfort, but as the hands and feet of Jesus that we may be a source of comfort and love to those around us?

Jennifer, I am with you in praying the Scriptures. How do we know to pray for His will unless He teaches us what to pray through His Word. Blessings as we seek His will and Word together for us and for others.

Absolutely! May God bless you as you seek Him and His will, as well. I’m praying for your writing ministry today – thank you for your faithfulness in sharing what God is revealing to you!

Praise the Lord for His blessings planned for each of us as His children. Thank you for your prayers. The Lord bless you in all He has prepared for you in His service. There is no greater place to be, but humbled in His service.
