Praying Scripture – 4/29/2020

²² Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
²³ They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23 NIV

O Holy Father,
I stand in awe of Your wonders. I stand amazed at Your love, a love that is undeserved. Because of that incredible love, I can face whatever today brings. Because of Your love I am not consumed. I do not need to fear anything. You are near, Lord. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. You are steadfast, committed to Your covenant and Your people. Your affectionate love for me never fails. It never falls short. Your love and compassion greet me every morning. I cannot begin to comprehend Your faithfulness. Thank You that I can rest in the truth of Your character and meditate on the ways that You have proven faithful again and again. Help me to focus on You, Your love, and those moments of faithfulness no matter what I face today. May Your love and the hope that it brings pour out through me to those around me, that I may glorify You in all I say and do. In Your Son’s name I pray. Amen.
