4 I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. 5 For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge—6 God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. 7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 8 He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:4-9 (NIV)
Faithful Father, today I thank you for the free gift of grace that you have given to me in Christ Jesus. I thank you that You have enriched Your people with spiritual gifts of speech and knowledge. I thank you for confirming the testimony about Jesus that I find in Scripture and pray that you will confirm my own testimony in the lives of others. May they see and be blessed by the fruit of Your Spirit in my life. Thank You that Your church does not lack any needed spiritual gift. Help those who love and know You to eagerly wait and live in expectation for the revelation of Jesus. Keep us firm to the end, no matter what we face, so that we may all be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for calling me into fellowship with Your Son, Jesus. It is in His name I pray these things, amen.
