Beauty Compromised – A Video Lent Devotional

I was recently invited to share a devotional for the Kirby Laing Centre’s online Lenten Service. The passage was Jesus’ feeding of the 5,000 in John. Honestly, it didn’t strike me as a Lenten passage. As I prayed and reflected on it, the Lord brought me back to Esau McCaulley’s comments about Lent that I shared a few weeks ago. While the Lenten service wasn’t recorded, I took the time to record the devotion so that I could share it with you.

Ultimately, all that we have is from God. When we are struggling, God has allowed those things into our lives, as well. How might we seek the beauty of life with God no matter our circumstances? .I’d love to hear what beauty, distractions, or compromises you see in this passage in the comments!
