26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 NIV
Merciful Father,
You promised your people that You would give them a new heart and put a new Spirit in them. I see in the New Testament that those gifts have been made available to all people. You have given me a new heart and placed Your Spirit in me. Help me to live my life out of that heart of flesh rather than my old heart of stone. Move me to follow Your decrees and keep Your teachings. Work in me and transform me more and more into the image of Your Son. It is in His name that I pray these things. Amen.
