The heavens declare the glory of God;
Psalm 19:1-2
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
O Glorious God,
Thank You for Your glorious creation—the heavens, the mountains, the ocean, the creatures with which you have filled them, and the people that You have made in Your image. Today, help me to focus on the beauty of what You have made. Help me to see Your glory declared by the heavens. Help me to see the skies and everything in them through fresh eyes and as the work of your hands. Help me to hear Your voice and what You have to reveal to me about who You are and who I am in relation to You as I behold them. Help me to see You more clearly and to echo the praise that is offered by creation itself. You alone are worthy of that praise and honor. In Jesus’ precious and holy name I pray. Amen.
