Praying Scripture – 7/1/2020

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Ephesians 4:2

Loving Father,
Your word tells me who I am because of what You have done. You define me and my identity. Help me to live out of that rather than based on my feelings, stress, frustration, or even anger. Transform my heart and mold me into the image of Jesus. As I go through my day today, help me to be humble and gentle no matter what I face. Fill me with your patience and love as I encounter challenging circumstances or people. I can only be like Jesus by the work of Your Spirit in my life. Pour out Your love into and through me. In Jesus’ loving name I pray. Amen.
