Praying Scripture – 8/1/2020

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Ephesians 6:18

Father, I come before You today and ask that You will create in me a constant sensitivity to the things of Your Spirit. May He lead and guide me. Help me to see and hear the people around me, becoming aware of their needs. Make me alert to what is happening around me and help me to persevere in prayer, even when it is inconvenient or I have other priorities. Make Your priorities my priorities. Show me where I need to slow down to make room for You, Your work, and Your people. In Your holy Son’s name I pray. Amen.
